As part of her Pegwn Residency, Toyosi Adenuga will be hosting a walk and workshop on Friday 6th October, with participants invited to share experiences of language reclamation through individual and collective wor(l)d-mapping exercises across collage, drawing and other activities.

Darllediad Radio LUMIN Radio Broadcast
Across 2022 LUMIN have been imagining and designing a decentralised, itinerant radio station to continue their occasional digital broadcast Local 37, a fictional underground radio station transmitting dialogue and strategies for the artist as worker. On Saturday 3 December, LUMIN will be making their first broadcast from Platfform 2, Abergavenny Train Station.

Across 2022 young people and artists have met at Platfform 2 to (re)think languages & futures in Cymru. In October, a small group of Casgleb collaborators are coming together to reflect on + expand this work, and we invite you to join us.
Local Residents Autumn Pottery Group
Peak are thrilled to announce a local resident pottery group to begin in the autumn. Following a series of taster sessions led by artist Lucy Dickson, we are offering a group of ten participants the opportunity to attend an eight week, evening course starting in September.

Young People’s Summer Pottery Group
We are delighted to announce that pottery programmes are back at the Old School, Crickhowell. Following a series of taster sessions led by artist Lucy Dickson, a summer programme is now launching for a group of eight young people, aged 16 - 25.

Join us every Tuesday for 5 weeks in our bright and open Stiwdio* during June and July at Yr Hen Ysgol in Crickhowell. This time we’re offering five after-school workshops for 11-14 year olds, with a focus on making with ◌ Ceramics ◌ Drawing ◌ Zine-making ◌ Painting ◌ + making our very own pigments to paint with! So if you enjoy making things with your hands, playing and meeting new friends, this is for you!

ululations is a bilingual publication, in print and sound, of newly commissioned writing by Fin Jordão, Nia Morais and Kandace Siobhan Walker, with creative translations by Elan Grug Muse, produced by Peak Cymru with Freya Dooley and Mark El-khatib.
The audio version was broadcast on 9/7/21 from Platfform 2 and printed copies are available at the space.
Walking Backwards into the Future: reading groups
This May, Peak is co-hosting a trio of online reading groups led by Dr Kirsti Bohata, Kandace Siobhan Walker and Esyllt Lewis, as a portal into our Culture is Ordinary programme, marking the centenary of cultural theorist, socialist and educator Raymond Williams born in the village of Pandy in the Black Mountains in 1921.
