Pottery Session with Young People at The Old School

Peak are thrilled to announce a local resident pottery group to begin in the autumn. Following a series of taster sessions led by artist Lucy Dickson, we are offering a group of ten participants the opportunity to attend an eight week, evening course starting in September. 

Across the sessions, participants will learn pottery techniques and build knowledge around tools and materials in a relaxed, and creative environment. This is a perfect experience for beginners, or those with some past experience of pottery. There will be an opportunity for each participant to plan and create their own project using the skills they have developed, such as hand building, decorative methods and surface design. 

The sessions will run every Thursday for 8 weeks from 29th September - 17th November, 6-8pm.

The course is free to attend, all materials are provided and work will be fired on site by the Peak team. As numbers are limited, we will prioritise those people who register with a commitment to join every session.
